Hey everyone!
We need to work out the family history aside from what is already in the plot of the site. Any ideas or suggestions for the family are welcome.

Hm... I dunno really. I actually think that the plotline gives us a lot to work off of, without there being a zillion different ways to interperet it. Just to clear something up, I think I'm right, but Roanth follows the Queen's family tree?

No, the king's.
It is just the queen's family that lives with them. Should I perhaps change the male to be the king's brother to create more drama? More chances for the king to try to be murdered?

Mkay... I have a question then, how come the grandfather's last name is the same as the current King? Wouldn't the queen's name have changed when she married her husband, so the grandfather should have the queen's maiden name?
That sounds luvly dramaful. XD
Edit// Dangit, this is Peps. -_- I forgot to log onto Mac.

The grandfather is the father of the king.
And I have fixed up the royal list. Let me know what you think.

Looks good. ^^ You still have under the queen that she's the sister to the royal duke, though, but other than that it looks great.

Awesome! I'll fix that.
But when it comes to history, I mean more of how the siblings grew up together and stuff like that.

I really am too lazy to log off of JD's account. xD
Well... I dunno. I'd say that Mac's kind of motherly, so she wold have tried to help out and be there for her siblings whenever possible, especially her younger siblings (and Gabby). But would they have grown up actually around each other all the time? It would kind of be interesting to say that they were split up sometimes because some of the children went to the country home for a few months or, maybe for the older children, they went to the Domnhall's kingdom to visit their relatives when it was more peaceful there.
I dunno. I'm tired, so I'm not thinking clearly. That's just my two cents.

That all sounds good, and since Jaymes is the youngest prince and not exactly what people want a prince to be maybe he is a slight outcast from his older siblings? Or his parents and maybe his siblings adore him?
And I like that idea about visiting another kingdom. They could have done that with the Royal Duke's kingdom too, because he did have one before being forced to come back to Roanth.

Hmm. I like the idea of having Jaymes' parents adore him, but perhaps his siblings are envious? Being the youngest, he would get attention, along with the oldest. The middle children, perhaps, don't have the same luxury? The Queen and King only have so much time with their children, which is barely any at all. Not to mention, the King seems to always be off with some other girl whilst the Queen attempts to handle the situations occurring, so they're certainly not the best parental units. But, Gene still could try and gather time with Jaymes, because she doesn't want to be the worst mother out there (and yet, she all ready is for leaving a daughter behind).. But, basically, to not lose her youngest child.
I like the idea of some of the children going away for months at a time to get some peace and quiet, to escape from the tension and chaos of the kingdom here. And, so, pretty much, Tessa hasn't been involved in their lives very much but still wishes to keep contact? When those months went by, she'd write to them every two weeks or something? However, it would seem that she really didn't show a complete interest due to her duties that she has to take care of..
And, even though life moves on and such, the Queen still tries to hang on to her children, trying to be a part of their lives. Maybe it could seem that she's trying to butt in? Or that she's not focusing enough? Either way, her middle children may be unhappy with her because of how little spare time she has for actual 'family bonding'?

Ooooh, I really like that. Jaymes will hold close to his mother. And maybe he is also really close with his older brother? That is up to whomever takes him though. I like the idea of all of the middle children being kind of neglected. Or maybe it can be the women to be more specific?

I can definitely see Mac wanting more attention from her mother, but she would be too prideful to admit it. She wouldn't hold the attention that her oldest and youngest sibling get from the queen against them, but might tend to be a bit cold towards her mother at times because of it. I can also see her admiring her mother, seeing her as kind of an idol if she were just a bit more fair to all of her children, but keep those feelings relatively secret because she still resents the queen. So she'd admire her mother, but hate her at the same time.

Oh, I certainly like the idea of negelecting her daughters, because she didn't hesitate for a moment before returning to Roanth after her mother called upon her.. Easily up and leaving her first child with her ex-lover.
But, the neglect and such definitely brings some family tension between the Sibhan women. And, I like how Mac fits into that, with her own opinions, but yet will never admit it to Genevieve. The Queen is rather motherly, but it pretty much only happens when she wants to be a bit maternal.. Otherwise, she treats her kids like townspeople when talking with them; if they need her, rather than her trying to be the 'good' parent.
In all reality, the Sibhan children don't have decent parental figures at all.. It's quite sad, really. But, yet, it makes sense because they have to run Roanth and all.
