Jazzmyne Elektra Flannigan was born to a good family, and raised with love and care. She was a sweet girl, passionate about her life and music. From a young age she was interested in music, but since it was frowned upon to be a musician at court, she developed a way to get the best of both worlds. She learned to dance. Jazzmyne became an amazing dancer, flirting with all the men at court from even a young age, and spending time with the musicians and artists late at night.

At first these nightly escapades were innocent and merely about learning and satisfying the need to know more about color and sounds, but as Jazz got older they became more about lust and greed. She learned very quickly about men and how to wrap them around her finger. She also learned how to guard her heart from their many tricks and flourished words. So, she became known as a deadly temptress back in her own kingdom. She was the girl every guy wanted, but couldn't have.

By the age of fourteen, Jazzmyne had the whole kingdom talking about her. Her mother didn't approve, but at that time Jazzmyne hadn't let a single man touch her and her mother believed this. One night, Jazzmyne and her sister were in the barn, tending to the horses after taking a ride to go shopping inside the fortress with their mother. Their mother had gone inside to put away the new clothing and food they had bought. At first, Jazzmyne thought their mother was just taking her sweet time, but then the smell of fire caught her nose. She walked outside the barn to see their home up in flames.

Jazzmyne took her sister and hid in the bushes near their home, hoping their mother would join them soon. Unfortunately, what Jazzmyne saw has never left her. She saw a knight of Roanth kill her mother in cold blood.

After that night, Jazzmyne swore that she would avenge her mother and bring down the kingdom of Roanth while she was at it. She began training to be both a spy and an assassin for her kingdom. She was to travel to Roanth with her family, join the court, and wait for her kill orders. The night before her family and she left, she became very very drunk and ended up sleeping with the prince.
